#BLM and Accountability: Solutions Journalism

After the death of George Floyd, Black Lives Matter protests erupted not only over the country, but the world. Accountability was looked at and reevaluated with citizens now becoming watchdogs of violent confrontations.

Data Story

The stimulus check that came from the Cares Act was meant to provide financial aid to citizens facing hardship due to the pandemic. However, not everyone was included in the Act, including immigrant and DACA recipients.

1619 at Texas State 

The 1619 Project is a special New York Times Magazine which consists of a series of essays and historical documents that reflect on the aftermath of 1619, or when the slaves were brought to America. Texas State University decided to showcase the project along with historians who focus on African American studies.

Website made for a clothing brand made out of Austin, Kuros. The website was worked on with a team and features press releases and branded content.
