About Me
My name is Delilah Alvarado, I write about healthcare, politics, social issues and more.

I currently write about biotech and pharma while bringing light to subjects such as women's healthcare and advances in disease research.
At my core, I am a service journalist, aiming to provide factual information and content that can make a difference within a community. As a Chicana, I strive to write stories that relate to the community I have grown around in, and those who want to learn more.

My works have been featured in Prism, Yr Media, and others.

I am from Austin, Texas and continue to reside in the central Texas area. I have a B.S. from Texas State University in Mass Communications with a minor in psychology. I live with my boyfriend and our goofy, fluffy lab mix. In my free time I'm found at the gym, taking a hike, reading a good book or crafting. I love crystals, dogs and horror films.
